This Privacy Policy explains how Pastel Technologies Inc. ("Pastel," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Pastel live-shopping marketplace at mypastel.com and our iOS and Android apps (the "Service").

2.1.1Account & Profile

  • Name, email, password (hashed by our authentication provider), profile photo, bio.
  • If you sign in using Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

  • Identity and bank details required for payouts, collected and verified by Stripe Connect.
  • We do not store full bank account or payment card numbers.

2.1.3Buyer & Order Information

  • Shipping address.
  • Order details.
  • Payment information processed by Stripe.

2.1.4Content You Submit

  • Listings.
  • Photos and videos.
  • Stories and highlights.
  • Live shopping broadcasts.
  • Messages, reviews, disputes, and reports.

4How We Share Information

4.1Other Users

Public profiles, listings, stories, live broadcasts, reviews, and interactions are visible by design.

4.2Service Providers

We share information with Sharetribe, Stripe, Firebase, Google Gemini, Google Maps, Google Analytics 4, PostHog, Sentry, Mailgun, and social login providers solely to operate the Service.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4.3Legal Requirements

Information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4.4Business Transfers

Information may transfer during mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.

5AI-Assisted Features

Pastel offers optional AI-generated listing drafts using Google Gemini. You remain responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing.

6Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics technologies for authentication, preferences, diagnostics, and product analytics.

7Push Notifications & Marketing

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Transactional communications remain necessary to provide the Service.
